Coaches & Trainers

Sara's job here at ScrapFIT is to create intense and unique Workouts to keep you FIT!  She also finds the best of the best girls to become part of the FITgirl team to keep you motivate to Workout.  The rest of her time is spent making sure the ScrapFIT gym is maintained in tip-top shape!

I took over ScrapFIT in 2010 as a former FITgirl I feel in love with the sight and the 'FIT Theme'. I also was working on my own weight loss at a the time and just venture out into the online Scrapbook community and thought this was a perfect FIT for me!

I live in Northern NY with my husband, our one 7yr old son (Cole) and our new puppy (Bauer).

I have been scrapbooking for about eight years and have loved every minute of it!  I dont think I have a particular style but I do gravitate to making things with dimension - I go to through pop-dots and foam tape like you would not believe!  My favorite manufactures are Sassafrass Lass, Crate Paper, October Afternoon, Pink Paislee just to name a few.

I am a craft alcoholic!  I love creating scrapbooking layouts but that is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to my crafty love.  I love to make cards, home decor, gift bags, banners, playing with fabric and more!  I am blessed to say that I have made many new friends both locally and online since my crafty days started! These friendship mean so much to me! There is nothing better than sharing something your passionate about with others that share the same passion.

I organize monthly craft days at my home (Scrap N Chat Days is what we call them) for a group of about 20 local girls.  Then once a year I organize a weekend long (Friday- Sunday) retreat where we all stay over and all our meals are provided there are goodie bags and prizes galore!  This past October I hosted my 8th Crop Til You Drop Retreat to 79 girls!  I love doing this for them!

I wish I could say I crafted all day but  I do have a 'real world' job as a manager of a convenient store.  When I am not working or crafting I enjoy being outdoors with my family, working out, reading, baking/ cooking or taking photos!

Missy is the Warm Up Coach at ScrapFIT. She has been here with me since the start!  Her job is to create a verity of Warm Ups that will keep you limber while your not working out. Don't skip out on the Warm Up's they are what make you great in the Workouts! Dont be fooled, these may look easy but Missy expects you to work hard and give it your best if you want to a Feature FITgirl!

Hi!  I’m Missy, and I’m so thrilled to be the Warm-Up Coach here at ScrapFIT!  Here’s a little bit about me:  I live in a tiny town in Central Florida named Frostproof.  My husband and I were both born and raised here, and now we live here with our two little girls, Reese and Paige.  We’ve been married for almost 12 years, but we’ve been together for almost 18.  That’s half my life…wow!  I used to teach high school English before I resigned to be a stay-at-home mom.  I guess you could say I work part-time…I am a spinning instructor at the YMCA.  I love fitness and working out; it’s my daily therapy next to scrapping.  I fell in love with scrapbooking back in 2006, just before Reese was born.  My mother-in-law asked me to help her create a baby scrapbook for my husband, and I was immediately hooked.  I really can’t define my style.  I like to try a little bit of everything.  I love patterned paper, stitching, inks, chalks, mists and masking.  I love working with sketches and challenges.  Scrapbooking has also made me a little bit obsessed with photography, but I still have so much to learn.  It’s fun, though, and I truly love documenting mostly everyday things around here.  I’m honored to be a part of this amazing group of women, and I can’t wait to scrap with you!

Sheila is our Step Class Coach.  Many people thing Step Classes are out of fashion but Sheila puts together a rigorous Step Class that will help you create something you never knew you could do! If you think it looks complicated don't give up, she offers up the best step by step instructions to get you through the class and that info will always be here at Step Class Link at the top of the blog for you to review again and again!  Remember she is looking for a Featured FITgirl so don't be shy and join our Step Class!

Hi! I am a mom, a wife, a reading teacher, a crafter, a reader, and a thinker (in that order, I think!) I am inspired when I have the chance to interpret challenges to reflect my own style.  In addition to scrapbooking, I enjoy sewing, using my glue gun on anything that doesn’t move, and making flowers.  I like to find ways to use materials in a way you wouldn’t necessarily think of.  When I am not working, you can usually find me on the computer (PINNING!!!) or in my sunny craft room, amidst piles of stuff, working on my latest project.
I am so happy to be on the ScrapFIT design team in my new role as step class coach! (Those of you who know my athletic abilities, you may laugh now!)  I’m honored to be joining such talented coaches!

As our Creative Trainer, Diana will be our in-house trainer offering up a well diagrammed plan for every workout! She will be contributing her amazing sketches and color/picture inspirations in to our Workouts. Her creative ideas will have you in shape in no time- as long as you stick with it!
