Julie WOWED us with her beautiful layout featuring gorgeous ballet slippers. Check it out on the right side of the blog :)
Here's a little bit about her:
My name is Julie Tucker-Wolek and I have been scrapping since my son was born 15 years ago, but really got into it as a major passion about 6 years ago when my daughter was born. I create everything! Cards, layouts and altered projects! How would you describe your scrappy style?
This one is always hard for me! I can do simple, mixed media, whimsical – I can never seem to narrow down my style! LOL
What are your top three “can’t live without” scrappy items?
My paper trimmer, my paper piercer (aka – my pokey stick! Lol!) & my adhesives!
Who are your favorite manufacturers?
Bella Blvd., Bo Bunny, Graphic 45, Lily Bee, Crate Paper, Pink Paislee, GCD Studios and Nikki Sivils – is there a limit to this question?? *wink*
Where do you get your scrappy inspiration from?
I visit A LOT of blogs! A ton – and I get a lot of my inspo from my bloggy friends – I also have stuff pop into my head all the time!! Some people might call it a gift… but sometimes -- *phew* I think it’s a curse, because it doesn’t leave my head until I make it and get it out of there!!
What do you enjoy most about scrapbooking?
That I am creating something for my kids to have in their future! I know not all my pages will be ‘perfect’ or the most fave one I have ever made – but I know that 30 or 40 years from now, my kids won’t care what my pages look like, they will care that I have made a history for them!!
How do you usually get started with a layout?
I start with the papers! I add the photos after I have chosen what I want to work with!
Here are a few of Julie's designs...aren't they so colorful & fun? We love her style!
